Lead Solar Installer Job Description Classification/Position Type: Non-Exempt/Full-Time/Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (40 Hours/Week) with occasional evening and weekend overtime. Reports To: Lead Solar Installer Overview: Working under the direct supervision of the Operations Director, the Lead Solar Installer will be responsible for the planning, direction and coordination of daily activities pertaining to solar installation and maintenance of an assigned project in accordance with company guidelines. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Lead Solar Installer will also be responsible for the oversight and training of solar crews on each project as well as (but not limited to) the following duties: - Responsible for accurately mapping out the placement of components based on provided diagrams and ensuring the system is effectively sealed against weather conditions, following safety codes and manufacturer specifications. - Ensure all insurance certificates and any relevant workers compensations statutes are in place prior to the commencement of work. - Evaluate specifications for plan procedures, start and completion dates, as well as any necessary staffing requ...
