Department: Ambulatory Location: Rochester Ambulatory Sites Hours Per Week: 40 Schedule: Monday-Friday, Days $3 per hour float pool incentive SUMMARY: The Float – Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible to float to ambulatory practices within primary care where a need has been identified. The Float – Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing direct patient care, usually under the direction of a Registered Nurse, in accordance with established plans. This role is based at Batavia Medical Campus and will float around the Batavia area, including Leroy, Bergen, Batavia and Medina. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Conducts and documents a thorough observation of each patient’s medical status upon presentation and throughout the patient’s course of treatment. - Assists with the patient’s treatment plan under the direction of the RN or provider. - Provides routine nursing services for patients as directed by the RN or provider. - Complies with the evaluation, treatment, and documentation guidelines of the department. - Completes required documentation in an accurate and timely manner. - Provides regular patient status updates to the appropriate personnel. - Attends and particip...
