Job Summary Reporting to the Director, Academic Employee Relations and supervised by the Senior Analyst, the Employee/Labor Relations Analyst assists in the research and investigation of claims under the scope of employee and labor relations. The incumbent performs duties to assist with assurance that the University is timely in complying with all affirmative action laws at the federal, state, and local levels. The incumbent assists in the mediation and resolution of disputes and also assists in the research, analysis and preparation of grievance and complaint responses. In addition, the incumbent will consult with supervisors and managers and provide advice regarding disciplinary actions, grievance process, interpretation of collective bargaining agreements, CSU policies and procedures, and other employee/labor relations matters. Incumbent also assists with design, development and delivery of ER training.
