Description SUMMARY: The Upper School Dean of Students plays a central role in fostering a strong and supportive student community, with primary responsibility for student conduct, well-being, and the overall culture of the Upper School. The Dean works closely with students, families, and faculty to guide student growth and uphold community expectations, while collaborating with the Dean of Student Life to support a cohesive and engaging student experience. This is a full-time, 12-month, exempt position. Evening and weekend work is required. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Teach the equivalent of one yearlong course. - Recommend and participate in the development of Upper School policies and procedures. - Oversee and implement all disciplinary matters, maintain accurate student records, and timely communication with relevant constituencies. - Coordinate Upper School attendance policies in collaboration with the Upper School Attendance Clerk and grade level teams, including off-campus privileges for 12th-grade students. - Oversee the US Advisory program, including the coordination of grade level deans, advisory curriculum, budgeting, and programming, in collaboration with the Dean of Student Li...
