Custodian Position Summary: The Custodian I is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment across the facility. This role supports daily custodial operations by performing routine cleaning, waste removal, basic facility upkeep, and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns. The position requires attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork. Key Responsibilities: Cleaning & Sanitation: - Properly remove trash and other waste streams and ensure correct disposal - Clean floors, walls, touch surfaces, glass, hallways, restrooms, break rooms, cafeterias, equipment, and indoor/outdoor common areas - Maintain cleanliness in high‑traffic areas while following company quality standards Facilities & Safety Support: - Report facility, maintenance, or safety concerns to the Supervisor - Follow all safety procedures and correctly wear required PPE - Comply with Safety Data Sheet (SDS) guidance for cleaning products and chemicals Operations & Teamwork: - Receive and follow verbal and written instructions - Demonstrate effective teamwork and communication with employees of diverse backgrounds - Operate custodial...
