Security Officer Application Deadline: 18 May 2026: Department: Security: Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: Gillingham Campus: Reporting To: Kevin Diprose: Compensation: £24,242 - £28,586 / year Description: Assist with the provision of a front of house service and presence for the College, acting as a liaison point for staff and students and working as part of the Facilities team to enforce a safe, orderly culture within a caring, disciplined and supportive environment. This role is 37 hours a week and 52 weeks a year. Main Responsibilities and Duties: The following is an indication of the type and level of the main priorities expected of this role as directed by your line manager and is not intended to be a comprehensive list of duties or tasks: 1. Work a shift pattern across the college opening hours, supporting college events including door supervision and crowd control, assisting with locking / unlocking of the site, providing a welcoming and friendly front line service to students, staff and visitors whilst maintaining access control, checking and ensuring ID’s are worn at all times by everyone.
