Classification Title: Instructor: Working Title: Community English Instructor Department: International Affairs: FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Salary Range: Dependent on Course and Credentials Pay Basis: Hourly POSITION OVERVIEW: JOB SUMMARY: The Office of International Affairs is seeking qualified ESOL Instructors (Adjunct) to teach English as a second language in Reading, Grammar, Listening & Speaking, and Writing to non-English speakers enrolled in the Community English Program. This position requires a bi-weekly timesheet submission of hours worked. Community English Program classes are Monday - Thursday from 6:00 pm - 7:30pm. Applications are also accepted for qualified applicants to serve from time to time as substitute instructors. The Office of International Affairs is building a pool of Community English Instructors (Adjunct), CEC Instructors (Adjunct) and IEP Instructors (Adjunct) for teaching opportunities for upcoming semesters.
