Now interviewing for a part-time (20 hours/week) American Sign Language (ASL) Staff Interpreter to join our Deaf Services Team Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider of comprehensive “whole health” services including primary medical care, behavioral health, recovery services and programs addressing the social determinants of health such as housing and employment. Aspire has health centers in five Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life. Position Summary: As an ASL Staff Interpreter you will interpret for deaf, deaf-blind and hard of hearing clients, families and staff in clinical or administrative settings, and to hearing individuals when they are communicating with deaf or hard of hearing clients. The Staff Interpreter will also be responsible for coordinating schedules of interpreting staff, scheduling with agencies for freelance interpreters, if needed, providing instruction in the use of adaptive equipment, and any other duties assigned.
