Description The Community Division of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry is inviting applications for a full-time position in the Department of Psychiatry within ambulatory services for a Spanish language psychiatrist, with additional opportunity for. support of teaching and scholarship around working with Spanish language patient population. The position can carry a faculty rank of Senior Instructor or higher based on clinical experience or expertise. We are recruiting for a candidate with outstanding clinical and supervisory skills to join our Community Psychiatry Division as a member of our unique Lazos Fuertes outpatient team of bilingual clinicians serving the Latino community of Rochester, NY. Lazos Fuertes is the only bilingual mental health service in upstate NY, likely the only one outside of the NYC area, caring for the mental health of its Latino community. Lazos Fuertes delivers culturally competent mental health care through a team of bilingual mental health providers and support personnel through evidence-based approaches.
