PURPOSE: Directs and coordinates activities of the North American manufacturing facilities and leads in formulating and administering organization policies by performing the following duties personally or through all FMS North American Plant Managers and their teams. SCOPE: Hutchinson FMS North America Plant Operations Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the plants. Takes strategic direction from the President & CEO and proposes appropriate tactics to meet the strategy. Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws and in keeping with the approved tactics. Effectively reports performance and progress. Participates in month end and year end closing processes. The Industrial Operations Director will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee operations activities ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems including standardization & insuring appropriate commonality in practices within plants to meet current and future needs of the organization.
