Job Description Assists Maintenance, Quality, and Production in the setup, profiling and start of both new and existing bottles. Troubleshoots existing profile-related bottle problems. Assist in developing blow mold operators’ profiling skills and problem solving techniques. Enters requisitions for replacement tooling, molds, and change parts to ensure optimized molding performance. Cleans, inspects, troubleshoots, repairs and maintains blow mold tooling, molds, and change parts. Leads changeover, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting activities related to process control. Ensure all new bottles have documented BICs and existing BICs are kept up to date. Works closely with quality department personnel to review and utilize statistical process control data to identify and drive process control improvement activities. Manages BICs in the Facilities Management System. Verify maintenance coworkers have properly completed a change over using mechanical setup sheets; provide feedback and guidance to maintenance on proper machine set up to ensure BIC parameters will work; document setup sheets of new bottles; profile and document BICs as required on new bottles; update mechanical...
