Job Summary The Physical Therapist staff has the responsibility to evaluate, establish a plan of care, and treat patients referred to PM&R. Job Specific Responsibilities: Daily assignments may include but are not limited to: - Demonstrate proficiency in the performance of evaluation and treatment techniques/skills and therapy procedures appropriate to the age of the patient and within medical limits of the patient while taking into consideration any special precautions/contraindications the patient may have. - Complete proper documentation and billing necessary for Physical Therapy. - Participate in clinical education by functioning as a CI for PT/PTA students. - May be assigned to other specialty areas in PM&R department and expectation is that therapist will be competent in all assigned areas. - All other duties and/or assigned responsibilities.
