We are comprised of a 49-bed hospital, various medical offices, home health, a birthing center and a vast scope of services located throughout The Dalles and the surrounding areas. Job Summary: Performs a variety of admitting and clerical duties to facilitate processing and scheduling of patients for the Medical Imaging department. Coordinates film storage and filing for the department. Assists radiologists as necessary to maintain department throughput. Job Requirements: Education and Work Experience: - High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred - Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred - Medical insurance experience: Preferred Essential Functions: - Processes managed care referrals and sends to managed care claims department.
