Job Description: The role consists in modeling and simulation of piezoelectric resonators and filters, with an emphasis on the finite element method. Specifically, the employee will work within the R&D modeling team to help develop and run in-house FEM models. The job requires working closely with cross-functional teams to help characterize and optimize linear and non-linear device performance for the purpose of both product and technology development. Required Skills: - Comsol and a general knowledge of multi-physics FEA methods - Matlab - Familiarity with basic acoustic resonator device physics Education/Experience: Candidate must have a PhD in Electrical Engineering, preferably with an emphasis on piezoelectric resonator device physics and computational methods and 7+ years of related experience.
