How you make a difference The Payroll Clerk, under direct supervision, supports the payroll department by performing essential payroll functions and responsibilities. This position requires a basic understanding of payroll processes and collaborates with other departments to ensure accurate data integration. Effective partnership with various departments is key to ensuring seamless payroll operations. Qualifications & Requirements: Education: - High school diploma or equivalent certification required. Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or closely related field preferred. Experience: - Two (2) years payroll or accounting experience, preferably in a healthcare environment. Working knowledge of payroll procedures and general clerical experience. Knowledge of various software programs. Working knowledge of business English, good grammar and spelling skills, and the ability to develop correspondence, reports, and operational directives. Excellent organizational and communications skills.
