Perform and analyze clinical laboratory procedures and tests within scope of licensure associated with the preparation of specimens for the anatomical study of their microscopic structure in support of the hospital's mission of patient care. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Bachelor’s Degree in Histotechnology or related field. 2. Must possess current licensure as required by state board where services will be provided: PA : No state license required WV : Medical Lab Scientist, Histologist, or trainee license 3. National certification requirement as follows: PA : No National Certification required WV : Histotechnologist Certification (HTL) with American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP). PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Qualification in Immunohistochemistry (QIHC) Certification with American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP). EXPER...
