Job Description: The Thomaston Area Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining Georgia Power’s influence and presence, advancing its business interests, and providing exceptional community leadership within Lamar, Macon, Pike, Taylor and Upson counties. This position will be responsible for building relationships of influence with government officials at all levels, as well as business and community leaders to ensure positive legislation, regulations, local ordinances, policies and other items that impact the company, our external relationships, and our ability to provide the highest level of customer value, are in place.
