Job description

Purpose of the Position: The Assistant Director for Compliance/Student Athlete Development, under the supervision of the Associate AD for Compliance, is responsible for ensuring that the University's Athletic program adheres to all rules and regulations set forth by the institution and the NCAA. The position also investigates and reports possible violations of NCAA rules and assists in implementing all infractions. The incumbent will also be the point of contact for all programs associated with student athlete development, provide advising and counseling, and will work to develop a program for student athletes and coaches to grow and learn as they are at UAH. Duties/Responsibilities: Assist in reviewing, evaluating and advising initial academic eligibility and continuing academic eligibility requirements using NCAA, departmental, and Microsoft Office software Educate student-athletes and collaborate with campus advisors on recovery plans for at-risk student-athletes Assist in collecting and tracking annual required documents Assists with monitoring athletic scholarship limitations, National Letters of Intent, and athletic aid offers Monitors institutional and outside scholarships M...
