HVAC Refrigeration Mechanic II 260003CJ Description The Lemuel Shattuck Hospital (LSH) is seeking a dynamic HVAC II mechanic to join our Facility department’s trades worker team. The incumbent would install heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment including related equipment. You would also perform preventative maintenance on all equipment and maintain all HVAC and refrigeration equipment in proper operating order along with the other HVAC technicians and contractors. The HVAC II reports to the Foreman and Director of Facilities. Help keep our air systems and environment at the highest standard for our patients and staff. Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30AM-4PM: Duties and Responsibilities (these duties are a general summary and not all inclusive): Install HVAC and refrigeration equipment, including controls and related fixtures (air/water filters, refrigeration piping). Maintain, repair, and complete preventative maintenance on various HVAC equipment (window A/C units, chilled water units, split systems, steam absorbers, cooling towers, air handlers, pneumatic controls).
