A Brief Overview: Accountable for developing, managing and evaluating all aspects of the Infection Prevention program; in accordance with current Federal, State and Local standards, guidelines and regulations as directed by the Quality Care Committee. Responsible for assisting IPAC leadership with surveillance, prevention, and control of infection. What you will do: - Implements and educates employees on established infection prevention and control (IPAC) policies, procedures, and plans. - Proficient in surveillance using National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) surveillance definitions for healthcare associated infections.
