LPN (Full-Time)

Job description

Proposed Schedule: 40 hours per week. Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm with an occasional Tuesday evening and Saturday morning rotation. The Licensed Practical Nurse provides age appropriate, population specific, patient care in a professional, compassionate, caring, culturally and ethnically sensitive manner, while embracing the Core Values of Quality, Appreciation, Creativity and Sustainability in pursuing the HHHN Mission and Vision. The LPN administers care to patients under the direction of the responsible Registered Nurse or medical provider. - Serve as a mentor and resource for nursing standards, competencies, policies and procedures. - Collaborates with staff and other departments in the development of strategies to continuously improve quality of care and the patient experience. - Utilize data to continuously meet care coordination needs across settings in conjunction with the patient, family and/or other care providers. - Provide direct and indirect care that is safe, ethical, patient and family-centered, and evidence-based. - Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection control policies and protocols. - Prepare the patient for encounter by following established protoc...
