Nuclear Medicine Technologist POSITION SUMMARY: Performs all clinical Nuclear Medicine testing. Including general studies, cardiac studies, and the computer interactions associated with these studies. Demonstrate proficiency in the performance of all Nuclear Medicine Imaging. Examinations. Administer isotope dosage accurately, following established Departmental procedures and protocols, accurately records dosage administered. Must be able to determine appropriate isotope required for a particular study. Must use good judgment and follow prescribed protocols in the disposal of radiopharmaceuticals and accessory equipment. Obtain patient history and consent, review patient condition. Responsibilities and duties may be added, changed or deleted at anytime at the discretion of the Clinical Operations Manager, Radiology, either verbally or in writing.
