Overnight Counselor Shift Supervisor Responsibilities of the Overnight Counselor Shift Supervisor are to provide support, guidance, and training to the Overnight Counselors working in our four group homes/community residences located in Schenectady, NY. We serve adults who have a diagnosis of mental illness and living in a group home with the goal of independent living. Specific duties of the Overnight Counselor Shift Supervisor included: - Train and provide shift supervision for all community residence Overnight Counselors. Provide support to Overnight Counselors as needed during their shifts by communicating with the Overnight Counselors regularly and responding to their call for assistance. - Complete periodic checks on Overnight Counselors and ensure Overnight Counselors are performing all assigned tasks including medication counts and the daily cleaning to maintain a healthy environment for our clients. - Review the Communication Logs of each group home.
