Status Full-Time Standard Hours per Week: 40 Job Posting Category: Clinical: Job Posting Description: Position Summary/ Department Summary: Provides technical assistance and support for Dentists/Surgeons during Plastic & Oral Surgery examinations and procedures. Under regular supervision and following established procedures and instructions, provides basic direct care to patients. Prepares patients and instruments and treatment materials for procedures. Obtains, measures, and records vital signs. Obtains radiographic images and dental impressions. Assists clinician during examinations including passing instruments and materials, placing topical gel and/or anesthetic cream; may remove sutures. After procedure, provides patients/parents with general information and instruction. Cleans and sterilizes room and equipment. Key Responsibilities: Minimum Qualifications Education: High School diploma/GED is required. - Greets and directs patients, provides routine information on procedures, and escorts patients to and from the service area.
