Job description

Job Purpose: This position serves to provide care to patients under the direction of a medical practitioner in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations . What You Will Do: - Prepares patient charts for upcoming visits, ensuring all necessary forms are completed, reviewed, and properly integrated into the patient's chart. - Welcomes patients, conducts check-in, and escorts them to examination rooms. - Performs delegated medical tasks, including recording vitals, medical history, reasons for the visit, and documenting all in the patient's medical record. - Conducts visual acuity screenings as part of routine physical exams. - Administers injections and assists providers with medical procedures. - Performs blood draws, collects specimens, conducts urine drug screenings, and communicates results. - Maintains cleanliness and readiness of exam rooms between appointments, including stocking necessary supplies and disposing of expired supplies and biohazard waste. - Works collaboratively with providers to troubleshoot patient issues. - Other duties as assigned.
