Senior Accountant - Manufacturing

Position Summary We are seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to lead accounting operations for one of our manufacturing sites. This role will be responsible for the full accounting cycle at the site level, including close, reporting, and cost accounting. In addition, this position will support the Director of Accounting, supporting broader initiatives across the Metal Roofing Group, including process standardization, implementation of best practices, and system improvements. Key Responsibilities: Site-Level Accounting & Close: - Own and manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process - Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations - Ensure accuracy and integrity of the general ledger in compliance with GAAP - Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules Manufacturing & Cost Accounting: - Manage inventory accounting, standard costing, and COGS analysis - Analyze production variances including material, labor, and overhead - Partner with site leadership to understand cost drivers and improve profitability - Support cycle counts and inventory control processes FP&A Support: - Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and monthly variance...
