Overview ABOUT THE POSITION: VHB’s Orlando, FL office has an immediate opening for a Senior Transportation Planner! This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic team, across diverse disciplines, giving you exposure to a wide variety of projects in size and scope. Responsibilities: - Development of transportation planning studies for a multitude of transportation projects - Development of support materials for public involvement activities - Authorship of project-related documentation for a range of transportation planning studies, demographic analyses, and multi-modal / transit-oriented projects - Prepare written documents, summarize information collected by others, and assemble reports - Conduct planning assessments using analytical tools such as GIS to evaluate data, identify trends, and develop documentation to summarize results - Perform field data collection and other on-site project support activities Skills & Abilities: - Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills - Team-oriented with strong capability to work independently - A strong work ethic with the desire to learn and achieve - The ability to work on multiple projects and work independ...
