Job description

What you will do: Under the general supervision of the Mobile Equipment Supervisor, responsible for operating mobile equipment throughout the plant in accordance with its intended purpose. Main Responsibilities: - Load, transport, and stockpile raw materials and coal as required for production of cement. - Strip overburden to facilitate drilling and removal of raw material. - Hauling trash, dust and other materials. - Operate equipment in construction or repair of plant facilities. - Will maintain a safe working environment, adhere to safety policies and practices, perform daily housekeeping of assigned area, perform daily workplace inspections, adhere to plant policies and proper use of plant radios. - Be familiar with MSHA safety rules, safety procedures for plant mobile equipment, lockout/tagout policy, confined space permit policy, hot work policy, emergency response plan, arc flash/shock and burn protection, proper containment and disposal process (via Waste Management Plan) for lubricants, paints/solvents and other environmentally sensitive materials. - Ensure quality of work performed, participate in continuous improvement system, observe and promote best practices, good tim...
