Instrument Technician will be responsible for installing, repairing, maintaining, and calibrating electronic equipment and gauges that control, regulate, and/or monitor a mechanical system. Position Highlights: - Must have 5 years’ experience in instrumentation - Must be able to read blue prints. - Must be able to work on low and high pressure tubing/piping systems. - Must have tools (see tool list below). - Must be able to work with precision instruments and tools. - Must have Current TWIC Card - Must have Valid Driver License - Must be willing to follow all company and project work policies and procedures JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Description: - Inspects, tests, adjusts, and repairs electric, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments and systems used to indicate, record, and control chemical manufacturing processes. - Inspects meters, indicators, and gauges to help detect causes of abnormal fluctuations in process measurements. - Tests accuracy of flowmeters, pressure gauges, temperature indicators, controllers, and other recording, indicating, or controlling instruments to locate defective components in system, using test equipment. - Traces out and tests electrical and elec...
