The Assistant Surveyor role reports to the Senior Mine Surveyor and will offer variety and opportunity. This role will provide Surveying services to the company and provide support for relevant projects. The role is residential in Mudgee with a Monday - Friday roster. In this role you will be responsible for: The safe provision of surveying support to a range of activities typical to a large coal mining operation in conjunction with and under the oversight of the Registered Mine Surveyor. Providing support for production, statutory plans, and civil and structural projects. Maintaining a sound working knowledge of the legislation and standards relevant to your role. Timely provision of end of month reporting, including surveys, stockpiles, volumes and reconciliations. About you: Previous experience in the industry is highly desirable. Proficient user of Microsoft Excel, Deswik CAD (or Vulcan), Pix4D and Maptek PointStudio highly desirable. Proficiency in using Maptek Isite Scanners, Leica GPS and total stations desirable.
