POSITION SUMMARY: The ARFF Assembler is responsible for the installation of doors, hose beds, body panels, and other final parts, like roll doors and steps, to the fire apparatus as called for in the specifications. This position will drill, manipulate, and perform light fabrication to parts and necessary truck components to complete the custom installation. The ARFF Assembler is responsible for putting together modules and other body parts according to the specification book. They will install wire harnesses for preparation of equipment to be installed.
