ABOUT THE ROLE: The primary role of Supplementary Stevedores at White Bay Terminal is to support the safe and efficient operation of passenger vessels in Sydney during seasonal demand. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Safely operating a Forklift (1.8 Tonne and 2.5 tonne Counter Balance) - Forklift Driving may be performed in R&D (Receivals and Deliveries) and during vessel operations (on the wharf) - Operate plant and equipment as per standard operating procedures (SOP's) or as directed by management - Follow all company policies including, but not limited to, Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) policies and procedures QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: Supplementary employees are required to support passenger vessel operations in Sydney during seasonal demand. - Forklift operator – must have current high risk forklift licence - Knowledge and experience of Manual handling techniques - Previous experience on a Forklift (Minimum 12 Months) - Ability to drive in confined spaces - Ability to follow instructions in a fast pace environment - Ability to work in a team and work autonomously - Proven reliability - we need team players who can 100% commit to the role (this will also need to be backed up...
