Organization: SMCS-Sutter Med Center - Sacramento Position Overview: Job Description Summary This is a journey level position that is independently responsible for the maintenance and repairs to the building and grounds, related fixed portable equipment and installation. Performance of different tasks which include general maintenance and repair, plant operation and maintenance and preventive maintenance. EDUCATION: Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. - HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE: - EPA universal CFC certification within 90 days TYPICAL EXPERIENCE: - 2 years recent relevant experience. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN: - Mechanical Electrical Technology (MET) 2-year certificate or equivalent technical experience - 4 years experience working with equipment repair and troubleshooting and diagnosing a wide variety of mechanical equipment and machinery problems. - 4 years experience with building systems and equipment and capable of building a maintenance program in accordance with all healthcare regulatory standards and all...
