Description Are you a skilled Diesel Mechanic looking to work with a company that values your expertise and provides room to grow? We are looking for a Night Shift Mechanic ( afternoon/2nd shift ) at our Chicago location. Qualifications: - Diagnose and repair Class 8 heavy-duty diesel trucks - Perform preventive maintenance (PM) services on rear loaders, front loaders, roll-off trucks, tractors, and box trucks - Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems - Diagnose and repair equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, and wheel loaders - Complete overhauls and rebuilds of retired trucks - Perform welding and metal fabrication as needed ( welding experience is preferred, but not required ) - Assist with general asset maintenance as necessary - Occasionally respond to road calls for on-site repairs - Accurately complete and review maintenance paperwork - Ensure all work complies with DOT, OSHA, and company saf...
