What YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: As a Buyer at nVent, you will be responsible for the sourcing, negotiation, and purchase of goods, services, and/or raw materials. You will: - Procure assigned items in accordance with material buying plans at the optimum cost/quality relationship. - Maintain and improve the quality of the assigned goods with a focus on continuous improvement, eliminating nonconformities, reducing total delivered costs, and improving customer happiness. - Work with vendors to acquire quotes for non-inventory materials. - Generate purchase orders for both direct and indirect materials. - Participate in th...
