Classification Title: Student Assistant CLAS Peer Advisor Classification Minimum Requirements: - Current CLAS student with a minimum 3.0 GPA - Excellent written and oral communication - Strong organizational skills - Available to work 10 hours per week - Creative and interested in learning new skills - Ability to maintain professional relationships - Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information/situations with discretion - Computer skills, proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Job Description: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB Advise students on general advising questions including: Process forms such as minors and double majors. Assist with the general advising email inbox.
