Envision Imaging is looking for a Part-Time Mammography Technologist to join our South Arlington team! Saturdays 8 AM - 2 PM| Position pay range $35.48 - $45.74 Summary/Objective: Performs routine and diagnostic exams relating to breast anatomy to obtain images at a satisfactory level with minimal supervision. Essential Functions: 1. Interfaces with patient to ascertain medical history and provides instructions and explanation of the procedure and/or exam to obtain the best possible image. Also provides patient education on breast self-examination as needed. 2. Reviews patient charts for missed clinical information and/or consent. Screens patients for surgical and other implants, contrast allergies, etc. 3. Obtains prior imaging as needed and performs high quality scans to submit to the Radiologist for interpretation. 4. Performs exams while attending to patient’s care before, during and following exam and notifies the appropriate party if patient’s condition changes at any time. 5. Transfers images to other locations as needed. 6. Coordinates procedure protocols with Radiologist. 7.
