Staff Environmental Scientist

Job description

We are hiring for an experienced Staff Environmental Scientist to join our at Pennoni on a full-time, direct basis and contribute to land development projects while based out of our office in the Haddon Heights, NJ area. Primary Responsibilities: - Prepare Remedial Documents for NJDEP Site Remediation Program cases and Phase I / II Environmental Due Diligence Reports in accordance with regulatory standards and technical guidance. - Manage field sampling activities in accordance with existing contracts and regulatory requirements in coordination with LSRP, and/or oversee and mentor junior staff conducting field sampling activities. - Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of Engineers, Scientists, Planners, and other professionals to assemble regulatory-compliant environmental plans & reports. - Must be able to work with a small team and operate independently with the LSRP when needed. - Work within scope, schedule, budgets and utilization goals. - Project management, proposal preparation, budget preparation, QAQC, and mentorship may apply depending on the applicants experience and goals.
