Hudson River Trading (HRT) is seeking a hands-on Data Center Technician with experience in data center operations to join our Trading Infrastructure (SysTrade) team. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in building and maintaining the high-performance infrastructure that powers HRT’s global trading operations. You’ll be responsible for everything from racking and cabling to planning large-scale deployments—ensuring our colocations remain robust, efficient, and low-latency. Responsibilities: - Plan, execute, and document data center installations, upgrades, and maintenance projects - Travel to regional and remote data centers to lead infrastructure projects and ongoing operational work - Oversee and coordinate remote hands tasks - Install and document racks, structured cabling, servers, switches, PDUs, and other hardware per HRT’s regional and global standards - Manage equipment inventory, forecast hardware needs, and coordinate logistics - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and partners...
