Department Overview The purpose of this position is to assist in the management of the Hospital Transportation Department and Equipment Pool Services. Position is responsible hiring, training, and performance management of Transportation, Equipment Pool Technicians and SPM staff. Position is responsible for establishing quality and productivity metrics and for measuring, monitoring, and reporting outcomes. Responsible for operational oversight of electronic VIP transportation dispatch system, including application upgrades, training, and implementation. Function/Duties of Position: - Oversees and coordinates daily activity including the delegation of special assignments to staff as needed. Develops staff schedules. Oversees electronic VIP transportation dispatch system, including application upgrades, training, and implementation. - Evaluates personnel and multi-shift job performance of staff. Coordinates assignments of staffing needs and make adjustments as needed.
