Job description

Department Overview Works under the supervision a Trades/Maintenance Coordinator and with other Facilities Technicians to maintain and improve the Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning systems in the Facilities Healthcare Zone buildings, focused on Vista Pavilion. This includes the routine and preventative maintenance, repair, and upgrade of HVAC systems and control systems, and the associated administrative duties such as ordering parts, setting priorities for service requests, training other employees, and attending meetings related to changes and impacts to the HVAC system. As this is a critical position in the department, presence during all hospital emergencies is expected and required.
