Job description

We’re looking for a detail-driven and motivated accounting professional to join our team and take ownership of month-end close and financial reporting. In this role, you’ll ensure accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness while partnering with leadership to analyze financial data and support key business decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. - Prepare month end journal entries. Perform detailed month end income statements and sheet reviews in all accounts for all departments. - Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations by the 15th of each month. Ensure financial data is presented accurately at a given point in time. - Monthly standard reporting and unique ad-hoc analysis. - Maintain adequate supporting documentation for journal entries and reconciliations for internal and external audit purposes. - Analyze balance sheet variances. - Must possess a working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles to ensure departmental processes are in compliance with accounting standards and ensure assets are properly safeguarded. - Responsible for tracking fixed asset additions and retirements.
