Senior Networking Systems Administrator

Job description

Responsibilities MaxLinear is seeking a Senior Networking Systems Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will focus on the following: - Plan, design, implement, and support enterprise LAN/WAN/WLAN solutions, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability (including IP and VoIP) - Support and troubleshoot network issues across routing, switching, firewalls, secure access, and wireless - Coordinate with vendors as needed for implementation and support - Maintain accurate, clear, and up-to-date network documentation (diagrams, configurations, standards, and procedures) - Partner closely with engineering and application teams to align network architecture with business needs - Respond to alerts and reported issues; perform incident triage, escalate as needed, root-cause analysis, and drive issues to resolution within established support practices - Analyze and solve complex network and security problems with minimal guidance - Develop IT best practices to maximize availability of critical networking services and improve customer experience through automation of frequent or repetitive tasks - Provide responsive, professional customer service to end users and stakeho...
