ACH Specialist II - Columbus

Job description

Job Summary Investigates and process ACH transaction disputes, returns and rejects, and Federal Government payments that are both Originated and Received by Synovus. Processes ACH transaction disputes, returns and rejects, Federal Government payments including US Treasury Trace Requests, suspended files including resetting and releasing files, which include being on call after hours for processing suspended files. Processes ACH exceptions and settlements ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Processes returns and rejects, Death Notification Entries (DNE), reclamations, and deceased accounts. Conducts complex research for originated and received ACH Items. Complies with requirements of Nacha, Regulation E, and the Green Book.
