Senior Officer (Behavioural Science) Permanent: Grade D - £45,091 - £53,460 Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review Working 36.5 hours per week: We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Officer (Behavioural Science) to support the development and delivery of Birmingham’s city‑wide Making Every Contact Count (MECC) offer across the local system. This role will play a key part in strengthening prevention by supporting partners to use everyday conversations to encourage positive behaviour change, applying behavioural science in a practical and accessible way. The postholder will work with a high degree of autonomy, while operating within an agreed programme of work and under appropriate supervision, to lead on the development, delivery and ongoing refinement of the MECC programme. Taking a co‑production approach, you will work collaboratively with stakeholders across the system to develop and maintain a clear implementation plan, create engaging training, resources and support materials, and deliver MECC training sessions to a wide range of partners.
