Description The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine at the University of Washington has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time fellowship-trained candidate for a faculty position to specialize in foot and ankle surgery, including amputation surgery. This position will be based at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. The practice offers opportunities for the cultivation of a broad and busy practice in elective and traumatic foot and ankle surgery as part of the internationally renowned Sigvard T. Hansen, Jr., MD, Foot and Ankle Institute at Harborview Medical Center. Responsibilities will include resident and fellow education and medical student teaching. Additionally, the successful candidate is expected to develop a robust program in clinical, education methodologies or basic science research. The successful candidate will be expected to maintin a high level of professionalism and academic acheivement and provide clinical care encompassing a broad spectrum of foot and ankle surgery.
