Job Description Summary At Dowty (a GE Aerospace company) we are recruiting for a Lean Leader who will be responsible for driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives using GE Aerospace's proprietary FLIGHT DECK lean operating model. In this opportunity you'll apply the Lean principles to optimize processes, enhance safety, improve quality, ensure on-time delivery, and reduce costs (SQDC). As the Lean Leader you'll report into the Dowty Global Flight Deck Leader and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable improvements, foster a culture of problem-solving and support effective implementation of strategic and operational business plans. "Flight Deck " at GE Aerospace refers to a proprietary lean operating model designed to drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, and alignment with the company's priorities of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC). It incorporates elements of Lean methodologies such as Kaizen, Kata, Hoshin Kanri, and Standard Work, tailored specifically to the Dowty / GE Aerospace needs and goals.
