Department Summary The Department of Hospitality, Tourism & Event Management (HTEM) was established in 1992 as an interdisciplinary career preparation program. HTEM offers an innovative, technology-driven curriculum that pairs academic study with hands-on professional experience that students need to pursue successful and meaningful careers. HTEM at SJSU is ranked as the #1 Hospitality & Tourism Management Program in Northern California and top 6% among top universities worldwide by Shanghai Ranking, a.k.a. the Global Ranking of Academic Subjects, which is one of the most influential and widely-recognized university rankings. Brief Description of Duties: - The HTEM Department is searching for part-time lecturers to teach undergraduate level courses related to hospitality, tourism and event management. Course materials, pedagogy, teaching strategies, and evaluation must address the needs of students.
