Yulista Contract Services LLC Regular: PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Aircraft Structural Mechanic III is responsible for assessing aircraft damage and draft repair procedures to aircraft structural and composite components. Must be able to utilize advanced metalworking practices and depot level techniques to form, cut, bend, and fasten new / repair components to damaged structures. Must be highly proficient in close tolerance drilling/reaming for installation of high-strength fasteners. Expert in the use powered / non-powered metalworking tooling and equipment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Inspect / assess damage to aircraft structural components and formulate proper repair/replacement procedures utilizing applicable technical data. Remove and install close tolerance, high-strength fasteners in major aircraft structural components. Designs structural repair, modification, and corrosion protection treatments with respect to original strength, weight, and contour to maintain structural integrity. Perform post repair flight control weight and balance functions as well as control surface rigging per designated technical orders.
