WHAT WE OFFER: - Casual Role: DIDO outage, located at the NRG Gladstone Power Station, QLD, with potential for other project/outage work. - Project Dates: Start date from mid-May, running approximately until Late-June. - Roster: Monday to Saturday, Days/Nights, 11-hour shifts. - Competitive Rate: EBA rates + OT Penalties (from base rate) + Site Allowance. - Other Benefits: Join a supportive team delivering Downers NRG outage. LAHA or Accommodation is provided to distant workers. THE OPPORTUNITY: Downer's Energy & Utilities business is seeking casual Special Class Welders to provide outage services at the NRG Gladstone Power Station, QLD. Starting in mid-May , Downer will offer mechanical and project services throughout the outage period. As a Special Class Welder, you will apply your expertise in piping setup, structural and welding fabrication, and boiler casings, ensuring that all work is completed safely, effectively, and to the required standards.
